Well, nevermind the "Son of God" (mysterious at best) title-- how do they
handle the intro to the Gospel of John "In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and the Word was God...(to verse 14), and the Word
became flesh and dwelt among us..."
Maybe Jesus' diety is more unclear in the Synoptic Gospels, but John lays it
out pretty plainly.
