If you respond to spam you have just given the spammer your email addy which he
now knows is active and will then sell it to whomever he chooses. To suddenly
find porn in your mailbox is not an event I wish to experience. And once your
addy is on a list out there in cyberspace, you may as well get a new one because
you are up the proverbial spam creek.

You don't understand. I will forgive any kind of email that is hurried, whatever
(even all lower case letters....well *except* that;) as long as I know who the
sender is. I'm not saying that I thought she was trying to spam me, I'm saying
that I didn't recognize her letter as a personal letter but as spam *because* of
her writing (or lack thereof) skills. Like I said before, I would have been
happy to help her out if I had realized it was a legitimate request for help,
which I didn't.
