You know how when you go to look at the list of rules for a community forum, and
the last one is something dumb like "The most important rule is to have fun"?
Man, that irks me.  Nobody has to tell me to have fun, it sorta comes naturally
to me.  And what if I'm for whatever reason not having fun?  Does that mean I
have to log out?  I have enough problems in my life without some hypocritically
cheery murfler laying some kind of guilt trip on me.

It seems to me there is a serious niche for a community forum where you can go
to be bad.  Curse all you want, post porn pics, make fun of happy people, point
out the hypocrisy in other communities, and, best of all, have fun on a schedule
that meets your own personal needs.  A forum where the rulebook (and the concept
of rules) has been thrown out the window in hopes that it will hit somebody
annoying in the head.

And not just a community forum, a community forum built around Lego.  Sometimes.
A place where it is okay if your spiffcraft resembles an offensive symbol.  A
place where you can build vignettes of strippers, BDSM, and bukkake if you like.
A place where the phallic shape of your spacecraft is more than symbolic, it's
intentional.  A place where Joe Vig is not restricted to certain minifig parts.
A place where people speculate on cool ways to make a minifig vomit.  A place
where you can use bricks and popsicle sticks and competitor toys and household
appliances to enhance your models (without being made to go stand in the
corner).  And a place where robotic cats are worshipped and praised.

Well, there used to be a site just like this.  But alas, it is no more.  Must
everyone from that community return to the numbing politesse of forums where
timidity and sanctity are hallowed, and having fun is required?

No.

(...) Woohoo! Sounds like a great place! (...) Yes, that seems to cover all the themes which are popular in the community. (...) Sounds like a bargain! (...) Cheers Richie Dulin Stajinaria Member #2 (Not sure why FUT is set to .o-t.d....) (17 years ago, 23-Jul-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
