If you don’t like the contest sponsors’ ruling, then
do something helpful, like John Neal did.

If I had one of those heads I would have also made an offer. After the first
offer was made, any further offers would be moot.

Or maybe sponsor your own contest -
one without rules, perhaps?

I routinely hold contests with many lose and vague rules, all with the guidance
of a simple phrase “Spirit of the game.”
Ergo, to see other strict rule enforcement within the WEC made me “sad.”

Why all the outrage over the fact that a contest has rules and that those
rules were enforced? The response is especially inexplicable given that the
situation seemed to have been resolved quite nicely before it was taken up as
a cause celebre.

There was no “outrage,” I simply said I was “saddened” then promptly forwarded
this to O.T.D. to show my respect to the forum, and contest. The outrage
happened when people reply to my post with sarcasm.
If you want sarcasm just let me know.
