‘Big Daddy’, you’re reply was not very considerate. You could have moderated the tone of your reply just a little. Did you canvas the curators of the .vignette group before posting? Or did you assume that everyone would agree with your attitude?

Hello, Paul. Thank you for your opinion. For the record, Nathan and I were in complete agreement prior to my reply to Linus.

Certainly, you’ve alienated me enough that I will not be entering this contest - and probably any other contest with which you are involved.

We are very sorry to hear that. Your response seems to be a very personal attack on me, but that is your perogative.
If you wish to enter our Second Joe Vig Contest, you are still very welcome to do so.

BTW, your comment about entering ‘another’ vignette seems to be somewhat inaccurate - I don’t see anywhere on the rules page for the 2nd annual contest that would prohibit the entry from being re-submitted with the correct head. Maybe you could make this clear, if there is a reason the vignette isn’t eligible?

You are absolutely correct on this. We have since emailed Linus Bohman regarding, and if he wishes to resubmit his entry, with the proper ‘Joe Vig’ minifig build, as clearly defined in the Contest Rules, then we will accept his entry.

KUDOS to LUGNET member John Neal, for volunteering to assist Linus.
