Group marriages are pretty efficient at it too. More so, by every measure I can
think of. The only stumbling blocks they suffer are legal challenges.
Maybe if the nation were under threat of not reproducing enough, it would be in
the interest of The People to incentivize reproductive behaviors (or import
citizens another way). But thats not nearly the case.
Further, gay couples aid the economy with no child-based drain. There are
serious economic studies that suggest that non-reproductive couples (gay or not)
are a more valuable resource for the nation as a whole than reproductive
couples.
