(...) No, actually, in Mass it's 16 for permit and 16.5 for license. I just got mine yesterday (half a year "late" ;-). (...) Huh-- they must've changed it since I went thru drivers ed-- (which I also did a year late at age 17-- although I got my licence after my birthday, so I was 18 by then).
