Saw this at TRU today: the Sea Wolf, a new entry in the Pro Builder line.
It's a huge -- huge -- submarine with an interior, and electronic sound feature.
I didn't have a lot of time to look at it, so this is from sketchy memory:
it's about 3 feet long built, and the piece count is outrageous (I want to
say over 2400 pieces, but sitting here now that seems ridiculous... though
it IS bigger than the Kitty Hawk). Didn't check the price. One side is
open, no wall-- and the interior is built out, two levels running fore to
back. In the center is an electronic module with sound effects for
missiles. Includes figures, and they are like army men, not mini-figs.
Impressive. Anyway-- once again, how is it that Lego managed to completely
abdicate the retail construction model market to a clone?
