Welcome!  There's always room for another supporter of clone brands!  8^)
Sadly, Tente is not LEGO-compatible, but it's really close in some ways.
The 2x4 brick has nearly the same dimensions, but the stud height and width
are different, so the bricks cannot interlock with LEGO.  Overall the
quality is pretty good, and set design was (is?) quite clever.  I'm not a
fan of Tente per se, since my fondness for clones extends only to brands
that are generally compatible with the canonical brick--in terms of quality
and compatibility, TYCO Superblocks are effectively interchangeable with
LEGO, MegaBloks are (IMNSHO) very close, Best-Lock is not really too close,
and Atco and Kawada bricks are so poorly compatible that they might as well
be spherical.
To some collectors, the greatest strength of Tente is in its set design.
Lindsay, I would wager to say, likes Tente ship models because they avoid
the dreaded "pixellation" seen in MegaBloks ship models, for instance.  To
each his own--I happily accept a little pixellation if it means I'll get
more bricks for less cash!

looks promising (ordering from europe).

Shweet!  I like that Bismarck (although it is, um, a bit
off-proportioned...).  This is one clone that has long
  deserved another chance!
