Recently I was clued in to the existence of a really entertaining Playmobil fan site (URL) Just for Klicks.> The main attraction on this site is the illustrated story Snowy and the Castle Caulibut Caper. The presentation is comic-book style with (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.animation, FTX)

(...) I just noticed those detail this morning -- sometimes one has to read the images more than once to fully comprehend their import. In particular, the chin laser armament is brilliant. Great use of that element. And the toes -- just wonderful. (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

(...) Yeah, the leg positioning wasn't great, I admit. Each leg is articulated at the hip, knee, and ankle, and the feet have articulated front "toes." I'm not thrilled with the rear leg either, but I cheated and just tweaked the left- and right- (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) I really like this MOC, except for the third/hind leg. To me, it just looks like it's dragging. I think it makes me want to see the mech with a tail instead though. BTW, are the knees articulated or not? I couldn't quite tell from the images. (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

(...) What about the Eclipse? I have one here tagged with the name "Dave!" on it... I've seen maybe 4 of them since last week at two different stores. -- Hop-Frog (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

(...) They've already got a license deal involving the Power Rangers--isn't that Saban? I don't know anything about the Gundam-style genre, so I don't know which company owns which properties. Anyway, I'm delighted to see that they plan to market (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

A recent frenzy of brick-sorting has revealed to me that my (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) I've always wondered about a 3 legged mech (sounds like the beginning of a joke), and this has provided an answers. Despite the treasonous medium (jk!), the design is great...very menacing. I wonder if the 'sprinting position' of the legs (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) 1. Mech design is not my strong suit 2. Neither is camera placement 3. I didn't take as much time as I'd have liked to pose the legs 4. Yes, all the parts are "real" MegaBloks, with the previously-mentioned issue re: trans-yellow (URL) Dave! (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks to the heads-up from Hop-Frog, I was fortunate enough to snag a copy of the Optic set during its brief appearance at my local KB Toys. The coolness of this set cannot be overstated; to date, it is hands-down the best mech design to come (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)
