I figured I'd mention this while I was slumming here in .clones. j/k!
Target has this set on sale this week for $16.73, and the picture in the flyer
makes me think of one of my all-time favorite sets, 6552 Rocky River Retreat,
which I paid something like $29 for at Walmart new a while back. While I
couldn't tolerate the lack of refinement of the MB elts, I can easily see how
less pickier parents who wanted to maximize play value while minimizing cost
would choose the MB set-- it is far more elaborate, if more cheaply done. For
a little over half the price of the 6552 you get a clone of it with a bit of
Extreme Team thrown in for good measure.
