I've only seen a couple Shifty sets, and it looks like not only do they make mistakes on their boxes, but there's a typo in their name ;) I *thought* these were a 'China-only' brand, and even then were iffy, so (...) | Hi! In a local shop I noticed a Shifty set, a copy of Lego 1761: (URL) bought it, just to see what it was, and found: The box is a copy, with the right colours, and the error on the box - there are by some reason two models of this one. | (...) Now that you mention it, I seem to recall a weird residue or film on the bricks in sets I bought in 1999, but I don't think it colored my hands in any noticeable way.
