The age ranges on _individual_ LEGO System sets vary a lot in the
Norwegian LEGO catalogue. Typically from 5+ to 8+ depending on the
size and complexity.
This applies to Technic as well (with other age brackets, obviously).
For a reference, consider the Danish catalogue, which is pretty much
the same as the Norwegian:

("år" means "years".)

| This is interesting: 1989 - 1993 catalogs show the age range as 9 and up. 1994 - 1996 catalogs show the age range as 9 - 16. 1999 S&H catalog shows the age range as 9+ I don't have any other catalogs :-))) The box for 5571 shows the age range as (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.modelteam)
