BBC signs up Lego's first TV series
The BBC has bought the rights to new children's animation series Little
Robots.
The series is the debut television production from Lego Media.
Little Robots is based on the books by Mike Brownlow.
It traces the antics of a small automaton and his friends.
It is expected to be one of the highlights of the BBC's new pre-school
digital television channel.
Broadcast website www.produxion.com reports the series has just gone into
production, and is scheduled for transmission in January 2003.
