700 Children Create Giant Mosaic with 151,000 LEGO bricks
More than 700 children participated in a three-day genuine LEGO building
workshop using 151,000 LEGO bricks to commemorate the opening of the first LEGO
store in the Middle East, in partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Leisure &
Entertainment.
Located at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, the LEGO certified store offers the complete
LEGO product range including standard product lines such as LEGO City, LEGO Star
Wars, LEGO Friends, LEGO Duplo, exclusive product lines such as LEGO Creator
Expert, LEGO Simpsons and other product offers as ‘Pick a brick’ and ‘Build a
minifigure’.
Founded over 80 years ago, LEGO Group is committed to bring creative, fun and
high quality play experiences to children all over the world, says a company
statement.
Note: It is believe the store is not manage or run by LEGO, but a partnership
with Majid Al Futtaim & Entertainment. This is not first time LEGO has does
this. There is one store in China and one in Latin America with the same general
feel and look.
