Forest blooms in Martin Place
Lucy Meyer
April 19, 2012

It seems that the recent downpour has helped new life grow in Sydney, with a life-size LEGO forest cropping up in Martin Place.

The whimsical pop-up forest includes brightly coloured LEGO flowers and 4-metre tall LEGO pine trees.

The LEGO forest has sprouted from the city streets to mark the launch of the LEGO Festival of Play, a nine-month event which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the LEGO brick in Australia.

The LEGO forest is on display in Martin place until late this afternoon. To catch a glimpse of Sydneysiders enjoying the pop-up exhibit, check out the photo gallery.
