LEGOLAND® Florida hires three executives

By Mark Albright, Times Staff Writer
In Print: Friday, July 2, 2010

“The bricks are falling into place” reports the builders of LEGOLAND Florida as its transforms Cypress Gardens into a theme park and miniature city crafted from the popular kids building blocks.

Under construction in Winter Haven for a fall 2011 opening, the $100 million-plus park tapped some Florida tourist market vets to head its 20-person marketing team.

LEGOLAND, which calls its workers “model citizens,” hired Kim Isemann, who previously managed the Daytona 500 Experience in Daytona Beach, as park marketing director and Todd Andrus and Jackie Wallace from SeaWorld Adventure Parks & Entertainment as sales director and public relations head, respectively.

LEGOLAND is run by the British Merlin Entertainments Group.

Main subject title post should be LEGOLAND ... not LEGLAND. (14 years ago, 2-Jul-10, to lugnet.legoland, FTX)
