Fellow Lego Fans, I have been asked to let everyone know that I am going to head back down to the Loud Idiots
online radio show tonight @ 10pm EST for a full length interview.

I visited the talk show studios back in April 2008. Part of that interview has
been posted on Youtube.

I was also asked to prepare a list of topics/questions that I will be talking
about. I asked a couple of friends (AFoLs) to give me ideas as to what “they”
think would be good things to talk about, or more specifically what “they”
would like to hear me speak about.

I am including that list here now:

Suggestions for discussion topics - Legomaster Eric Sophie Interview:

Each topic Q&A - 2 - 5 min each.
Some history.
Some insight.
Some destiny.
  • Talk about how I got the nic name Legomaster-?
  • What I have been able to do with my Art, ie some of the shows I have done,
    adventures I have had-?
  • What I am trying to do with my Art?
  • How I began teaching-?

  • How the Internet has influenced my experience as a Lego/Brick Artist/LEGO Fan-?
  • What are other Lego Fans like?
  • What do they think of me?
  • What does the LEGO company itself think of me?
Additional suggestions made to me, were to talk about:
  • How I build and why the techniques are important-?
  • What how and why did I choose to make certain creations.
  • What I would like to build someday? Or what would be my master creation or ultimate work-?
  • Why use LEGO?
I feel these are good topics and are generally the most asked questions.

Feel free to toss other ideas or questions out during the interview.

Again, thank you and feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. LEGO is both plural and singular and should not be spelled with an “s” as
in Legos, also, anytime the word is used, it should be all caps, “LEGO”.
Additionally, if at all possible, the title, “Independent Lego Artist” should
be used to identify me as NOT working for the LEGO Company.

This is standard protocol that I have upheld for years. This mutual respect
also keeps them from hassling me, because I make no false front that I work
for them. Just FYI and advertisement purposes.

end

In all honesty, I am a little nervous to share this information with the rest
of the Lego Fan community. However, it is also my sincerest hope to shed some
light on who I am and where my mind is at.

I apologize for keeping my distance from the forums and from AFoLs in general.
I have been trying to make good by my actions and through my dedication to
building in order to (hopefully) earn the respect I may have lost from many of
you because of past issues I have had with certain people.

For that I am sorry.

Perhaps tonight if you listen in, and or watch the video when and if it is
posted, I may just surprise you and or change your mind, if you haven’t
already met me in person.

As for those certain people, I will keep trying to learn my lesson and be a
better person because of the confrontations. These past issues have spawned
way to many negative circumstances, and I am afraid the general attitude has
affected some of the harmony we once enjoyed here on LUGNET.

I am a firm believer in “Things are what you make them”. We can work to
improve the harmony through kindness, creativity and sharing, here on LUGNET
and all across the Webbernet for all Lego Fans by working together.

Ha ha I said Webbernet.

If you have a chance to tune in, keep an ear out for the station phone number.
Last time I was at the radio show, we did not have time to give out the number
for call in questions.

I would be cool to hear from some of you, if you could call in while the show
is on.

Also, if you have a specific question for me, feel free to post it here and I
will check in before the show, then bring those questions with me to the show.

Keep positive, support each other and keep building....

Peace.
