Has anyone seen any mention of BrickFest in the news? In past years, there
have been stories in the Washington Post and even on national TV. My Google
News searches turn up nothing for this year’s event.

While there were releases sent to various media outlets by the LEGO Group’s PR
firm, there wasn’t much coverage on the local level.
However, there was a Korean TV station that visited, as well as three other
documentary filmmakers, who were filming attendees.

On a somewhat related note, what was the attendance at the public expo
portion of this year’s BrickFest?

Public expo was about 1500/day, or 3000 total.
