To All,

Well, we had a great honeymoon in Hawaii, we stayed on Oahu (SP?), where
Honolulu and Waikiki Beach are (No, my pages aren't up yet! : ) ), and of
course I looked for LEGO's there. I went to a Big K-Mart there a lot for
shopping, and they had quite a selection of Adventurers, Ninja, Insectoids,
some Extreme Team, some BASIC sets for around 25-30% off, but I didn't buy
any, no room. I also saw some at Long's Pharmacy, but they were about 20%
above retail price, with no reductions in sight. I saw a few interesting
stores in the Ala Monia Shopping Center, one called Thinking Toys, and a
Nature / Science Shop featuring expensive Mindstorms sets. Some of the
prices were really weird, maybe 5% above retail here, and some were 20%
above, there was no rhyme or reason I could see. Any ideas?

It's called "high shipping cost". Congratulations and best wishes on your marriage! Paul (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
