The target I was at today had 3 or 4 4561 Railway Express sets for $90. Is this a good price for this set? Target's new policy is that if an item is on clearance when you return it, you only get the clearance price value. (...) That has been their (and other stores) policy for items that don't have receipts for an awfully long time. But I suspect they would have a hard time getting that policy to stick if you have the receipt for your purchase. My experience in the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) BTW as of November 1st Target will not accept returns at all without a receipt or a gift receipt. Maybe this clearance policy is also something new. Unfortunately I am not able to be much help with this topic. I went to the Target by my house to return the toy. They gave me full credit for the toy. So I went back by the toys to see if they were on clearance and they were not. So the two Targets (...) (23 years ago, 29-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.shopping)
