| | | | | I read on lugnet.market.shopping that there was a 20% off sale at Kmart that
was to end today (12/12) so I went down to see what I could find. I found
no 20% off sale, but I did find some marked-down sets:
Fire Fighers' HQ from 2000, was marked at $49.99, but scanned at
$35.00. Lots of trans-dark-blue windows for spacecraft :-)
Robo Stalker from 1997, marked $29.99, scanned at $15.00. A
monumentally stupid mech, but an excellent grey and black slopes bulk pack
:-) The orange windows will see use in my space models as well, I expect.
Both boxes had been opened, but were completely intact, and everything was
still in the bags. The boxes were somewhat "distressed" but the Lego parts
were in great shape. (I'm throwing the boxes away, unless someone expresses
an interest...?)

Thanks for reminding me--I had a FOTD at K-Mart today as well!
The last two copies of 4712 Troll on the Loose, sure--but they
had 10 pod buckets for $10 apiece, a discount of 60%.
I bought 4 for myself and kindly left the rest, hard as it was
to do (I must save myself for the Target post-Xmas feeding frenzy...)
best
