G'day folks,
I finally received my holiday edition of the S@H Catalogue.
Nice to see the McDonald's Drive-Thru showing up in the
"Canadian edition" now.
Anyhow, up until now I've only seen the availability of
train motors, tracks, and speed controllers. But the
catalogue now has train components for sale, most notable
the trucks. Is this the first these items have been
available individually? As much as I like trains, until
now I thought the only way to expand was to buy more
train sets, or small accessory sets that contain the
rail trucks, that way I could make my own cars. But
to do that was just way too expensive with the asking
price on train sets. Now it looks like I could buy
a bunch of these accessory packs and make all the train
cars I want. This is truly a Good Thing.

[not cross-posted to .trains because I figure it'll
only take one single RailHead here in this group to
answer my question..., cue: LP] :]

| (...) Nope. They have been available for the entire time the trains have been available, except that when it was 4.5 V, one had to have a UK address to get stuff... (that was when the S@H service in the UK was _much_ better than in Canada) James (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
