My local Walmart (in west Nashville just off I40) had a huge supply of Sith
Infiltrators arrive last week. I bought 7 because there were fantastically
priced at a mere $10 each. I left bunches. Saturday it looked like they'd
been cleaned out as the aisle where I had seen them was now vacant. Monday,
however, I asked a toy department employee when they were going to be putting
all those lego sets I've read about here on clearance and he said there were a
bunch of Sith Infiltrators already on clearance (and the other sets would
follow in a few days). They had moved the 7151s to the next aisle over
(toward the bicycle aisle). I withstood the temptation to buy more - but it
looked like they hadn't sold very many since my initial purchase the week
before.
Anyway, I went back today to check on those other clearance sets that are
still ringing up full price and while passing the Sith Infiltrators I saw the
$10 handwritten sign had been replaced with a $5 sign. Yikes! The temptation
was too great and I ended up with 15 in my cart. I still left behind
approximately 25 of them.
Someone had also mis-shelved a handful of X-wing sets in amongst the Sith
Infiltrators. They still scanned at $29.97 but the manager let me get one at
$5 because of their mistake.
