I just got back from a late night perusal of Meijer's Lego stock. They
have a lot of old stuff, but unfortunately most of it is inaccessible
becase
they've stacked them all to the ceiling starting at about 10' above the
ground...
So I went and got a folding ladder from their hardware section, and
here's what I made away with:
2 6555 (Sea Hunter) for $1.99 each -- always wanted a raft and
the head is nice... Treasure chest too.
4 6599 (Shark Attack) for $4.00 each -- some nice clear parts, good
heads, lots of sharks, and some nice yellow pieces that
would
make good castle turrets
1 6326 (Town Folks) for $3.99 -- I finally get a bicycle, pizza, and
cat!
1 4805 (Ninja Knights) for $2.99
They still have lots more Shark Attacks and some of the (ick) Insectoids
stuff too...
Wal-mart also had 6434 (Roadside Repair) for $24.00, which I took. I'm
still not sure about it, as the parts don't seem too exciting. But the
winch,
1x2x5 green pieces, some scavengeable heads for castle figs, and other
parts made me give in (I can't believe it retailed for $48.00 though,
especially for 207 pieces!!!)
