6090 Ponderings ...

In the last Lego S@H catalog they didn't list 6090 - the Royal Knight's Castle.
I called in and asked the lady about the number of them left - she laughed and
said "Plenty."
This leads me to wonder if the set will be on a special anytime soon? And if
so, will be be slashed 50% --> $55.00?
This week obviously isn't the week for LSAH (Duplo set and a shirt? Plus new
Barbie Lego ... zzz), but I'm optimistic.
What determines a set being put on specials? 6090 is very old, there is lots
of
it left ... my hopes are high. Should they be?
Experienced specials veterans could maybe help me here ...

| (...) Doubt it, but then again, I also doubted the 6097 would go for 50% off, even though it did stink. Still, I think enough people order this one at full price that it might not make it to 50% off. Maybe 75%, which would be an ok deal. (...) Mine (...)
