On a non-LEGO-oriented shopping trip to Marshall's (a clearance store that sells
name-brand overstocks, some housewares, and toys), I checked out the toy
section. It's usually pretty light, with a smattering of K'nex (ugh) and the
occasional Playmobil set. THIS time, though, I found...
2 2437's (DUPLO sheriff bucket)
4 2862's (DUPLO zoo animals)
1 8213 (Technic "Spy Runner")
All at Marshall's low low, (basically clearance) prices. I'm guessing the 2437
sets didn't sell very well, as this is the third one I've found in as many
weeks. (The first being an opened set from TRU, with some extra pieces added.)
We're now set for Christmas gifts for my nephew and niece, with some left over
for Toys for Tots.
