Actually I got one of these, plus a 7150 for $12.  I have a Target store near
me which is sloppy about their toy section and do a poor job maintaining
Legos.  One night I was checking out their selection (seeing what was left on
clearance at 50%) and I spotted the 4561 behind the new King's castles.  When
things when to 75% I went back and it was still there, scoured the shelves and
found the 7150 too.  I love it when I find deals like that.
The real issue is though that you live in Lego country.  Quite frankly, here
in the South, it's pretty slow when it comes to Lego being a popular item at
stores, so there are lots of good deals to find here.
(Note my posting on the 15 8480(?) sets that I found in Snellville, GA for
under $60 a piece, after they were gone out in your area.)

Today, I took my kids to my local Target (the one that hasn't had any LEGO
clearance in almost a month) to look for some mittens (which they don't
have, they have bathing suits now).  Each of my kids had some Christmas
money from their grandmother and wanted to buy a toy.  So we are standing in
the Hot Wheel aisle and what do I spy - a 4561 train set on the bottom of
the LEGO shelf.  I think to myself - there is no way this set could be on
clearance.  But I scan it anyway - $32.44.  I can't believe it.  After all
of the calories I burned in Dallas looking for one, I find one at my local
Target.  Unbelieveable.
