TRU has a $30 co-pack of Knight's Castle Wall and Vladek's Siege Engine ($20 ea.
at S@H). I got that "Ooh, new Lego set" feeling and bought one.
Some thoughts on the castle wall...
Did Lego think modular castle wall? Close but no banana. Have to try it next to
Guarded Inn (look out).
It's a quick build, with one hinge, some texture and a lot of pre-fab. Some more
1x4 bricks would round it out as a set. Age level is as always young for KK. Of
the two alternate models #2 shows the way to go extending the wall.
Is this set comparable value to a $30 Megabloks Dragons? Apart from the quality,
probably can't compete on cost.
The parts are typical for KK (lots of bley). One of those gold discs.
HP has better castles, but this castle wall is more castley than, say, Citadel
of Orlan.
