Hi all,
I know some of you have discussed the problem of overcharging for shipping
from FAO. I too purchased three items (including a 4511 train) and was charged
$13 shipping. I got only one of the items (cost: $16.48) and was still charged
the full $13 shipping. Since they don't answer their phone anymore, I called my
Credit Card company to dispute the overcharge. I recalled that shipping for the
one item should have been $4.50, so I just disputed $8.50. The card company
credited me the $8.50 and issued a dispute with FAO. So, if you were ripped off
too, I recommend trying this. You'll get your money back, and maybe someday FAO
will have to pay up too.
