I went by two Target stores today and neither had any copies of Hogwarts
Castle (which really isn't surprising). Glad I picked up a couple at 50% a
week ago!
75% LEGO at Target is pretty rare in this neck of the woods (Raleigh, NC)
although I did find a good deal at one of the Target stores. On the shelf
was a single copy of Snape's Classroom. "Hmmm ... I say to myself, I
should scan that, I recall those being clearanced at Christmas". So I scan
it and it scans for $0.00 - yep zero. While I have seen older things scan
as "Not on File" or something similar to that, I have never seen something
scan for $0.00.
So I took it the cash register figuring it would show up for 75% off but it
showed up for $0.00 there as well. The cashier asked me if $1.24 would be
ok - of course I said "sure". So I got it for about 90% off.

| (...) It has gotten pretty rare around here too (even with 27+ Targets in the greater metro Minneapolis/St. Paul area). The post-Christmas clearance season has become relatively slim pickings even at 50% off; not much survives to 75% off like it did (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)
