Hi, everyone.
The surest sign that I'm back in the US for a week is that
there's a shopping report! :) This one is for the TRU at
8 Mile Road and Van Dyke; apparently the store's going to
be shuttered at the beginning of February. I popped in
there today and found an absolute TON of LEGO sets, some
of which may actually be pretty good bargains.
Discount percentage is 25%, so it's no different than the
BOGO/50 (which they will not allow you to piggyback, feh).
But I managed to snag a few good deals, and they do have
Rock Raiders sets yet, Arachnoid Star Bases, various Aqua-
raiders (!!) sets, and a Misty Mountain Time Lab that is
now, alas, mine (for $7).
It's worth checking out if you're local; they do also have
UCS TIE interceptors for $52 after all discounts, and of
course Tantive IVs. And Yodas. And Harry Potter. But no
2003 sets, sorry.
