Re: Cool Shell 1999 Promo sets now available in US

Almost all Shell stations have those little sets. The 125x (like 1254, 1255, 1256) sets are the hard ones to find (the ones that apparently only are being sold in CA). Has anyone else in the US seen these? doug mulvaney <douglasm@cisunix.unh.edu> (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Cool Shell 1999 Promo sets now available in US

(...) I was able to pick up some of the shell sets in Massachussetts, off one of the exits on I-84. They did not even make me buy any gas. I got 2536, 2556, 2537, 2543, 2554, 2539, 2538, 2544, 2541, 2542, 2540. They had a lot of the little sets for (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: (US only) Who didn't go door busting today?

(...) Yah, I went out to Meijer on Fri eve (slept in in the morning) and got the last DDK they had but I paid only 29.98 :). Even better was the trip to the local Goodwill on the way back. They advertised "Huge Shipment of New Toys" and they toy (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: (US only) Who didn't go door busting today?

(...) I decided I have way too many Lego sets around, so instead of buying more, I gave away $250 worth of Lego sets (I paid about 1/5 that amount, of course) to local charities. Didn't have to fight the shopping crowds, either. :-) Bruce (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: (US only) Who didn't go door busting today?

I picked up a couple of ninja sets, the big Amazon adventurers set, and the Cyber Challenge technic set for half off. And 40 buckets from etoys as well. That was good enough to tide me over til the after-christmas sales kick in, methinks. Adrian -- (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) Well I didn't go out but I did get 40 of the 4288 Buckets from E-Toys for a total of $105. Thats 16,000 parts or $0.0065 a part. By far the best deal I have ever had buying LEGO. Eric Kingsley The New England LEGO Users Group (URL) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

(...) I didn't. But I did make it to Meijer on Saturday, and grabbed a Droid Developer Kit for $30.00. 656 pieces, not including the micro-Scout. :) I should have grabbed more of 'em... Steve (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
