Please reply to my private email....I don't follow this group
At this point I have a couple of hard questions because the 2.0
kits are coming out soon (so they say). These kits have the power
adapter plug we all want as well as a USB tower!
I figure the insured shipping to the states at about $10 US and it
takes about 1 week to 10 days. I've shipped a lot of big sets and this is
about normal. The tax is %15 up here, so that adds $15US on top of the
~$100 base price. So we're up to $125US for the kits alone.
My better half just about flipped when I told her what I did, so now
I need to show her that I can make some income too...
I do need to cover my time and expenses for packaging etc and would be
willing to sell the sets for $1600US. For $170 I'll throw in a copy
of the "Extreme Mindstorms" book! That makes my profit about $35 US
per kit which I figure is fair because I'll be about 1 day packing
all this stuff up!
I hope you don't think I'm being greedy here, but apparently there is a
shortage of 1.5 sets in the States anyways. I'd like to be fair to everyone
including myself....
Is everyone OK with this? I still don't have a firm confirmation
from the Future Shop, and I can just cancel the order if it looks
like this is too much of a hassle.
If you're buying more than one kit, then make me a reasonable offer...
Cheers,
