WTT: 9V Train Parts for Other 9V Train

I picked up an extra 4561 on clearance, and would like to trade either the
whole set, or parts thereof, for some items that will let me do something a
little fancier than run the first train in an extremely tight circle ;-)
Specifically, I want to get some straight track, a cross, and some of the
shorter wagon plates.
Just about everything in the "trade fodder" set is available for swapping, if
I do break it up. But I may not want to do that: a scan for Train stuff in
.b-s-t suggests that there aren't a lot of swaps like this being done. I'd
also appreciate a little guidance from experienced Train fans about whether
I'd be better off to just sell the extra 4561, and go straight to LS@H to buy
expansion packs, rather than hope for a trade offer.
