Hi everyone,
Well, here it is! The long-awaited FIRE SALE, my total liquidation of
115 overstock sets. I have checked these prices to ensure that they are
below eBay values, yet will still give a good deal to people who want
one set or all of them. For that latter group, I have instituted a
volume discount policy (see below) and I will automatically accept an
offer to purchase the entire lot over offers to buy parts of the lot.
Apologies to those who just want one thing, but time is now critical and
most of my free time is taken administering my parts auctions to get
them finished before I move to Europe in August. These sets were bought
with parts sales in mind, so anyone who does a lot of eBay or Brickbay
parts sales should find this a real bonanza! What’s more, I’m willing
to ship anywhere in the world, so long as we can get it all squared away
before my departure.

NOTES:
*I acquired this set from ETS-DYA in France, so it should have firing
cannon. I have not opened it to check, however.
**Set has been opened, and includes no mummy.
***Box is damaged or crushed, but otherwise set is intact and sealed.
****This is the aqua vehicle from the numbered set, still in its
sub-box, but the box has been opened to extract the figure’s helmet.
FIRE SALE Discount Policy (IMPORTANT!)
Because these sets are located in a storage unit about 3 miles from me,
it’s a hassle to go get things and dig them out. Therefore there is a
substantial discount for large or all-encompassing orders, as follows:
-If anyone wishes to take the entire lot, I will discount it 25%. So
instead of $1499.00, the cost will be $1124.25, a savings of $374.75
over my asking price and some 55% off MSRP ($2455.08)! Feel free to
check my math, though…
-If nobody elects to take the entire lot, I will discount all purchases
over $200 by 10% and all purchases over $500 by 15%. (Sorry, I cannot
really handle a ton of tiny orders at this point, so all orders must be
at least $50.)
Terms:
-Payment in US funds only.
-Unless we have done business before, no personal cheques—money orders,
cashier’s cheques, PayPal, or X only.
-Buyer pays shipping charges, and is required to purchase insurance for
overseas shipment (check http://ircalc.usps.gov for rates). Within the
United States, I will tend to favour UPS, but shipping method and
insurance will be at the buyer’s ultimate discretion.
-Payment must reach me before 30 July; I will have everything shipped by
3 August, but probably within 48 hours after payment is received.
-Of course, if anyone wishes for references, check my eBay ID (lfbraun)
or just ask and I'll point you to some LUGNETters with whom I've done
business.

| Hi all, Sorry to follow myself up, but just as a notice: I will be waiting until after noon EST on Tuesday next (18 July) before confirming any piecemeal orders. This is to give people who might want the entire lot a fair chance at getting it (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
