[Followups set to lugnet.market.shopping]
A special new newsgroup lugnet.market.shopping has just been created for
sharing LEGO shopping information -- sales, experiences, tips, etc. It is
intended mainly for information dispersal, but discussions of retail chains
and their practices are fine too. In-depth product discussions arising from
informational postings should typically be moved to more appropriate places.
Here is the charter:
lugnet.market.shopping (group):
Retail, mail-order, and online shopping: information, discussions,
experiences, analysis; FOTW's (Find of the Week), sales, promotions,
coupon offers; LEGO Shop-At-Home Service (phone/flyer specials,
availability, etc.); liquidation outlets, second-hand stores, garage
sale tips, etc.
It is OK to crosspost between lugnet.market.shopping and other newsgroups
(such as lugnet.general or lugnet.trains) so long as the crossposted content
remains applicable to both groups.
Note that the definition of the lugnet.market.* hierarchy has changed
slightly to accommodate the new .shipping and .shopping newsgroups:
