I know that many of us are looking forward to getting bricks from Lego
Direct in the future. I am one of those people. I would like to offer an
alternative to them, however, in some certain items.
I have large quantities of 2x2, 2x3, 2x4 and 2x6 bricks from parting out
blue tubs for my train modules. All are unused and in mint condition.
Anybody wanting to order these sized bricks from Lego Direct in the primary
colors found in a blue tub, I will trade you a like number plus 20% more if
you instead order colors I need, like tan, brown, dark gray and gray.
How it works is like this, you tell me what you want to order. I see if I
have it and have you order that amount, less 20% from Lego Direct. Have it
shipped to me and when it comes in, I will ship my bricks to you at my own
expense. As an alternative, I could just sell them direct to you and take
the money to buy them from Lego Direct myself. Either way, you get your
choice of 20% more bricks or 20% cheaper bricks.
Most won't need this, but if anybody does, I would like to help them by
reducing their cost (or getting them more bricks) while helping myself get
more of the appropriate colors I need.
This won't happen until Lego Direct becomes a reality, but I thought I would
make this offer now to see what kind of interest there might be.
