Maybe, but strictly, I am not auctioning this - I did not say I would take the
highest offer :-) . Apologies if I caused offence to the group.

Let's do it differently then. I will sell this to the first eMail I receive
offering $40 plus shipping.

Since you are inviting offers and I assume taking the highest offer, this
should be posted in lugnet.market.auction and not in .buy-sell-trade, where
straight sales belongs.

I have for sale an ex-shop-display 7725 (Electric Passenger Train) with a • full
circle of 12V track, and invite offers to chris_w_dee@hotmail.com. Shipping
from the UK would be extra.

As is typical with LEGO shop displays it has been glued together, but the • roof
sections are still removable, at the level of the tiles. It was designed to • run
around on a suspended disc of plexiglass and the instructions on how to set
this up (dated 1981) are included. The plexiglass and suspension parts are • not
present.

There is some damage, but it is full working order. This is still a nice • little
addition if you don't mind having to leave it intact.

It is missing 2 train door glasses which could be snapped in if you have
spares, 1 buffer at each end is broken off (maybe it fell off the suspended
track ?), the two coupling magnets from the ends are missing, as is the
driver minifig. There are no instructions either - but you hardly need them
as you cannot take it apart.

I don't know how the UK retail versions were supplied, but this has British
Rail Logo stickers, in place of the normally illustrated (DB) logo.

The 240V/0-12V transformer (7864) is also available if you are willing to pay
the extra shipping for this heavy item.
