Dear LEGO Vehicle enthusiast,

Ron Eaton and I, Eric McCarthy, have finished splitting up some Dacta
community vehicle sets and are ready to sell some of them.

We have adjusted the prices from the suggested prices posted earlier,
based on
expected demand.  Most prices were adjusted downwards.  Here are our
offering
prices:

6524 Blizzard Blazer     - $8
6527 Tipper Truck        - $6 (note: 1)
6532 Diesel Dumper       - $6
6533 Police 4x4+ Motocop - $9 (note: 2)
6594 Gas Transit         - $30
6643 Fire Chief's Truck  - $10 (note: 3)
6660 Hook & Haul Wrecker - $6
6662 Backhoe             - $20
6668 Recycle Truck       - $30
???? ambulance           - $11 (note: 4)

Before ordering, please read the difference notes below, both the
"general" notes
and the notes specific to the sets you are interested in.  Please
contact
bendyarm@aol.com for further information or to order.  My references
available
upon request.

Quantities are limited.  There are between 3 and 6 of each available.
If there is more demand than supply we will pick some of the respondents
randomly out of those who responded promptly.

Shipping is $3 for any size order to a U.S.A. address.
International orders are welcome but shipping will cost a little more
(but not
much more if it goes by surface mail).

Difference notes:

(General) These sets are split up from Dacta 9365 which is out of
production.
The sets consist of all new pieces, never put together,
and gently touched only by clean hands to sort them into component
sets.
The instructions for each set are on a plasticized card, not on the
usual
    folded paper leaflet.

(1) 6527 -- Dacta substituted a red striped torso with red arms for the
blue striped torso with blue arms in the original.  The new minifig
is in the "Where's Waldo" color scheme!

(2) 6533 -- The original 6533 just had a police 4x4 and policeman.
Dacta added a motorcycle and motorcycle cop to the set.

(3) 6643 -- Dacta substituted a black torso with no decoration for the
black torso with fireman's uniform decoration in the original.

(4) There is no set released that contains this ambulance by itself.
It is the same ambulance as comes with the 6380 Emergency Treatment
Center,
except for a different 2x2 tile on the roof, white with black
stripes
rather than white with a red cross.

DISCLAIMER:  While these sets appear to be identical to the original
sets in comparison to available images of the completed set with the
noted exceptions, it is impossible for us to be 100% sure that the sets
are exactly the same without access to the original instructions.  For
the
one set for which we have instructions, #6594 Gas Transit, the
instruction card
matches the original set.  Money back guarantee if not satisfied and the
item
returned within 30 days in excellent condition, however we will not
refund the
shipping charge.

enthusiast.  Hinged rear trenching arm even pivots from side to side.

--------------------------------
6668 Recycle Truck
http://database.lugnet.com/pause/pix/town/lego6668.jpg

This set has an ingenious mechanism for loading and unloading
the container from the truck, that uses special hook and box
pieces and a rubber band.  Two extra rubber bands are included.
The recycling symbols on the side are stickers.  The worker is
wearing black overalls, which are much rarer than blue or red.

--------------------------------
???? ambulance (note: 4)
No separate picture on lugnet, but you can see it in the left front in
http://database.lugnet.com/pause/pix/dacta/dacta9365.jpg
and also in
http://database.lugnet.com/pause/pix/town/lego6380.jpg
and http://database.lugnet.com/pause/pix/dacta/dacta9364.jpg

Builds an ambulance. Includes two white zippered torso minifigs as
paramedics
(this differs from the medical workers in 6380), a patient with plain
red
torso, and includes a stretcher and a bicycle (shown being ridden by a
paramedic --- he apparently doesn't respond as quickly to the emergency
calls!)
The pattern on the side 1x4x3 thin-wall pieces is printed.  There are no
stickers in this set.

Thanks very much to Lou Zucaro and Todd Lehman for organizing
and hosting the set pictures.

Thank you for your attention,
/Eric M/
