I should have followed up, I'm now almost certain there never was a 110V

| (...) <snip> There *certainly* was a 12V-110V trafo. I used to own it! It was Lego blue with a red dial and had (I think 6xn) surface of Lego studs along the top. There were three outputs on the side (12V, 0-12V, and?) -- Thomas Main (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
