Alasdair,
Before you get flamed by many other lugnet'ers for posting a sale on
the non-sale area, I suspect there is wisdom in apologising, and
placing it on bricklink.com or using the
lugnet.marketplace.buy-sell-trade list. Non marketplace groups can be
quite sensitive about that kind of thing. Although I hope I am not the
first to suggest some marketplace subgroups like .technic, .space,
.mecha, .robotics for those selling sets or MOC's.
Can I also suggest that you pop it on the OrionRobots Robot Market at
http://orionrobots.co.uk/tiki-view_forum.php?forumId=6 which is free,
and welcomes sales of Lego Technic sets, parts and MOC's. You will
need to register/log in, and I consider it good practice to include
descriptions and some pictures of each item (use imageshack.us to host
them for free), and some idea of the kind of prices you expect, as
well as where and how you are shipping them from. Its also good to
announce when they have actually been sold, although its fair enough
to differentiate "sold, pending payment" from "sold, payed and
shipped" when someone may mess you about.
