Ladies and gentlemen, please visit the home of the new Farmhouse kit at
http://www.lionsgatemodels.com/cat-farm.htm
Features include the usual opening sections, full interior furnishings
[including a sand green "carpet" in the living room, an armoire in the main
bedroom, a tallboy (cupboard above, drawers below) in the kids bedroom, yet
another sofa design plus black "leather" slipper chairs for the living room,
and sand green tiled worktops in the kitchen], and some nice exterior
details like the chained dog in the dog house outside the back door, the
ventilator on the roof (I've been wanting to use that Technic piece for a
turbine-type roof ventilator ever since I saw it!) and the porch swing on
the front porch. My favorite feature though, which is hard to see in the
pictures, is the completely tiled front porch floor which looks just like
wood planks.
The farmhouse has about 1360 pieces and will cost US$249 with instructions
on CD instead of printed. You can also get it with printed instructions for
US$269. Now and for the rest of this week I'm taking pre-orders with a
deposit of US$150 - please email to reserve your kit ASAP, or use the
appropriate Paypal payment button on the web page.
You can also see prototype pics of the next kit, a barn to go with the
farmhouse, on
Brickshelf at
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=65419
The first Brickshelf picture is my Lego version of the "American
Gothic" painting - I couldn't resist. But sorry, the kit does NOT include a
pitchfork! (The one in the pic is my only one....)
