Hello Again!
As things turn out, a raffle is defined as paying money for a chance to win a
prize. This is not what I am doing and so while it looks like what I would call
a raffle it really isnt. Due to the whole money & chance concept a raffle also
falls into the gambling category & is therefor regulated by the AG & a states
gaming commission - in other words it requires a special license etc. Since I
don't have a license and didn't want to run a true raffle anyways I would like
to retract my prior raffle announcement in exchange for this new more legal
version. The below statements are what I am required by law to post in order
for this to even resemble a legal transaction, due to the inconvenience of the
gaming laws & how it detracts from what I really want to do, I don't plan to do
this again.
Pyrite's Plunder UCS Yoda Give-away! Promotional contest details:
- No purchase is required to win.
- Promotion is sponsered by Brett Antaya 804 S. Washington Mt Pleasant, MI

- In order to enter the contest, individuals must visit Pyrite's Plunder at the
above address, take a free tour of the store and fill out a customer survey.
Free entries will also be given with each purchase of merchandise found within
Pyrite's Plunder.
- Eligibility will be granted on all surveys filled out/purchases made between
4 June, 2002 and 1 August, 2002. Surveys & entries must be received by 1
August, 2002. All participants must be 18 years old or older.
- The one and only prize will be the UCS Yoda lego set MISB which retails @
$99.99. A cash prize of $50 may be awarded instead of the UCS Yoda if the
winner prefers.
- The approximate odds of winning are 1 in 250-500 and will depend on the
actual number of entries.
- Residents of the whole world where Promotional Contests of Chance are legal
may apply. This offer is void to residents of Carendel.
- The winner will be chosen on 1 Aug, 2002 and immediately notified by email.
- winner will be selected by drawing of ticket stub from a pool of all entries.
- The winner need not be present for the drawing to claim prize.
- Sponser of contest reserves the right to post the winners name in an official
announcment and on the Pyrite's Plunder Bricklink splash page. Sponser may also
answer any questions in the future regarding the contest winner by stating the
winners name.
- To request a written list of the winner please send a self addressed stamped

- Winner is not responsible for paying any state or US Federal taxes.
