But settle for *way* better than before, which is what we're getting. • You
guys have already forgotten how BAD Interland was. Has any data been • lost?
Have we been down for days on end? No and No.

Well, actually.....It was down for me most of last week.....

Well, that's another thing , afaik it was because of than nimda or whatever
...

Why did I think it would be ok now when it is moved ?
Patience.

Back where it used to be before the move, it was on some anonymous
box that belonged to a Large Faceless Organization(tm) with terrible
customer management skills that really didn't care about Dan one bit.
Not one little bit.
:-)) This is like reading some sf / crime book .. "faceless organisation"
" anonymous box"  Larry  - are you a writer ?

Now it is on a box that isn't hosting much else, a box that's managed
by a Real Person(tm) who is a Fan of the Brick(tm), a truly nice guy,
and pretty sharp with the tools to boot (he writes books about ASP
and gets them published. I trust him to know what's going on with this
IIS/ASP lashup), and cares deeply about Dan and the site. I've seen
the box, met the person, I know this to be true.
Well, both Eric (is it Eric?) and Dan are great guys that's for sure ...
My hat down for both !
And we (Nives and I) don't care if we can't do browsing, invertory
updating or anything else - anytime we want  ...
I just disslike when problems occur too often, while it can discourage
new pottential buyers from using Brickbay, but maybe I am a way too
much pessimist ?

Or do we all expect too much ?
Expect perfection, nothing less. That's fair.
:-)
