Announcing Bill & Doug's New Parts Auction

          Or:  Bill and Doug's 8th Excellent Adve^H^H^Huction.

This is the third in the series of Bill & Doug's winter auctions.
This auction consists soley of new pieces (from broken-down new sets,
like Todd does for AucZILLA(tm)).
Erik Wilson and his brother Rolf have most graciously made their
auction-bot program available, and I have set it up for this auction.

This auction consists of sets Doug and I bought on clearance over the past
few years, and broke down into their parts.  There are quite a few
WIld West sets,  some Roboforce, UFO, Explorien, Fright Knights, as
well as a few older sets.

The address of the auction-bot is: auction@mrfws1.innovation.com.

Mail for the auction must be sent directly to the auction-bot,
with the words "new auction" in the SUBJECT line.

The most important commands to get started are:

name <name you want to be known by in this auction.
describe *
help

Point your browser to:
http://mrfws1.innovation.com/~auction/index.html
There you can see the results of my previous space auction, used parts auction,
sets auction, as well as the current status of the "new" auction.

I'm sorry but the web-based bidding tool is still broken.  I hope to
have it fixed someday soon.

I've decided not to e-mail everybody the 700+ item description file.
You can look at it by sending the command "des *" to the auctionbot.
I'll also post versions in the newsgroup, and on the web.

        -Bill

Happy Bidding!
Really short help:

To get a decription of all of the items in the auction, send the message:

describe *

to place a bid, the format is:

bid i0110 $1.00
    ^^^^^
This is the code listed in the results of the describe command.

help commands gives the complete syntax that the auction-server understands.
