This is My Big Box of Childhood Lego. I have no instructions, or boxes for
the sets. The majority of pieces are Classic Space, mixed in are some
unknown older sets. I believe everything is pre-1981. Pieces are in "played
with" condition, but I have removed the cat chew toys. The older white
bricks have yellowing. Most of the Yellow bricks and all the arches come
from the 1979 Castle set (375) or the 1980 set (6075); I don't know for sure
which. The set is not complete at any rate. There is one older style motor
(electric plugs not plates) and battery box.
The motor works, but the leads inside the battery box have some kind of blue
oxidation crystal on them. The leads need to be cleaned and checked; as of
right now this hasn't been done. There are two working Lighting Bricks (970)
accessory sets. There are several old style metal-pin wheels/axle bricks,
and several window/door pieces. I don't know the completeness of any of the
older sets, in fact I don't know what sets I have. An open challenge for
"part detectives" that cruise the set databases.
