Well, I did have the anti-sniping thing set to just over 3 hours, but
I thought that might be a little low, especially for auctions that end
in the middle of the night (like mine usually do).

Sniping should be mostly impossible, now.  Any bid at or near the end
of the auction will extend the auction by 24 hours.  If that's too
much and enough sellers tell me so, I'll reduce it, but imo preventing
sniping normally makes the sellers more money while ensuring that the
buyer who wants the item most, not necessarily the buyer with the most
free time, gets the item.
