Have you read the group descriptions and snippets of what is and is
not appropriate in them at http://www.lugnet.com/news/groups/ ? I
don't think you have.

I'd say ONLY is pretty clear. Please don't clutter up other groups,
especially NON-market groups, with auction announcements. People who
WANT to read auction announcements will read them in .auction. People
who do not wish to be bothered by them in .general and other groups
should not have to deal with them.
