Ok everyone, it's time to do something about all this snow by ignoring
it and doing something cool with Lego.  So, Legofest!

When:  Saturday, January 13th
6pm (or so) until 10pm (or whenever we stop)

Where: My house, which is in Downers Grove, IL.
       Downers Grove is about:
30 minutes west of Chicago on a good traffic day.
An hour from the Wisconsin border at I-94.
An hour from the Indiana border.
I live about a mile east of I-355 and halfway between I-55 and I-88.

What:  Lego, of course.  But specifically:
         - I have a bunch of 9v train track.  Let's build a multilayer
track setup.. something I've been meaning to do but haven't
gotten around to yet.  It's time to get that metroliner
           running uphill and over bridges.
         - I also have a bunch of monorail that should be integrated into
any kind of nicely complicated train layout.
         - If the whole thing is cool enough, we'll take pics and put'em
           on brickshelf.
         - Bring:
             - Any train or monorail creations that should be added to
the layout.  Build something new before then if you have
               time!
             - Any extra train stuff that might be handy - but make sure
you label them or bring a list so that we can separate it
all at the end of the evening.
             - Any other models or cool lego stuff to show off to folks.
             - Sets or individual pieces to trade.
             - 802.11 wireless cards if you gotta have network.
             - Or, if you have none of the above, just bring yourself.

Food:  We'll order pizza around 6:30, which probably will show up before
7:30. Bring enough cash to help pay for the pizza.  Feel free to
bring snacks or soda, or to not bring any of those.

Getting Here:
Email me - evard@mcs.anl.gov - if you are coming, and I will send
you an ascii map to my house.
Also, please tell me if you're bringing any extra folks.  I'd like
to know how many people to expect so I know how many rooms to clear
out for the train layout and building area.

Cheers,
  -r'm
